What is Sensa^®?

Sensa is "Innovative Sleep Technology Since 1979." Sensa is the Specialty Sleep Mattress line of NE Bedrooms, a family owned and operated company based in Southwest Virginia. NE Bedrooms has been engineering and building sleep systems since 1979, making Sensa one of the oldest and most proven lines.

Sensa has been around twice as long as most of its competitors, giving Sensa engineers a tremendous volume of experience in the design and manufacture of sleep systems. Drawing on this expertise and using the most modern materials and cutting edge technologies, Sensa is leading the industry in all types of sleep systems.

Sensa has seen many competitors come and go because they have tried to rush inferior unproven products to market. Prior to any new Sensa product being introduced, it is put through extensive testing. The most effective test is not a simulation, but putting the mattress through the same rigors the consumer will at home. That is why all Sensa sleep products are slept on at home by the Sensa engineers and monitored for extensive periods before they ever are made available to the retail public.

Sensa has become one of the broadest mattress lines available, as over the years it has grown to include latex foam, visco elastic foam and adjustable power beds. Combining all of these technologies with their years of experience allows our engineers to design beds from the inside out to achieve unique and superior feels at every price point - feels that can only be experienced by trying a Sensa Sleep System.

Why don't I see TV or hear radio ads regarding Sensa^® Specialty Sleep Mattresses?

National advertising programs are expensive, and because of its commitment to the retail customer, Sensa - unlike most of our competitors - does not build the cost of national advertising into the cost of our products. Sensa prides itself in pouring all available resources into the product to provide an incredible value to the retail customer. With Sensa, you pay for the product - not for advertisements.

Why aren't Sensa^® mattresses in more stores in our retail market, like many of the national brands?

Sensa's reputation and its products are very important to the people who design, build, market and support Sensa products. Therefore, Sensa dealers are carefully selected and are required to go through an extensive product training program to enable them to help customers make an informed and educated decision on what Sensa mattress is best suited to them. If a dealer fails to meet Sensa's standards or make this commitment then they will not be licensed to sell Sensa products.

Why isn't Sensa^® pricing available on the Internet?

Sensa mattress prices are not available on the Internet to encourage consumers to visit their local Sensa dealer. Being in business since 1979 has taught us that Sensa customers are far better off working with their local authorized Sensa dealer. Sensa mattresses need to be personally experienced prior to making an informed decision, considering many customers are new to this category of sleep. Our retailers and professional support staff pride ourselves in the local support we are able to provide to our customers.
